James Ignatowich was a tennis standout, achieving the highest rank in junior tennis, a blue chip recruit, before playing at Vanderbilt University for two years. With his natural athleticism and aggressive play style, it’s no wonder he found his footing in pickleball within a year of starting!
In February 2023, James claimed his first PPA titles at the Indoor National Championships in men’s pro singles and mixed pro doubles with Team Selkirk’s Catherine Parenteau.
James currently plays on the Major League Picklebal Team, the Chicago Slice.
